With its new SOStenuto program, Youniversity of Music and Arts would like to make a meaningful contribution to supporting music education in Lehigh Valley's public school system. The Italian musical term "sostenuto" is derived from the Latin verb "sustinere," which means, to uphold or sustain.
SOStenuto was launched on June 6, 2012 at Broughal Middle School in South Bethlehem.
